Enspelled items were introduced in the 2024 version of the Dungeon Masters Guide. There are 3 kinds of Enspelled Items:

• Enspelled Armor
• Enspelled Staff
• Enspelled Weapon

TL;DR

No AL-legal character should have any Enspelled Items at the moment. This is because:

• There are no official adventure hardcovers that reward Enspelled Items, and
• DCs cannot reward Enspelled Items yet.

Rules

Generally speaking, Enspelled Items are currently limited in Adventurers League play.

ALPG 15.3 (page 2):

UNAVAILABLE MAGIC ITEMS […]

Non-consumable items without specified spells named in their description or other text. Unspecified Enspelled items, Ring of Spell Storing, Spell Gem.

This means that Enspelled Items cannot be rewarded unless the spells are specified in the adventure text or as part of the reward.

So they currently cannot be:

• purchased (you cannot purchase magic items anyways),
• crafted (whether in a Bastion or otherwise), or
• chosen as part of a “choose your own reward” (such as from Keys From the Golden Vault adventures).

We are awaiting updated DC guidelines to know whether Enspelled items can be rewarded from DC adventures.

In addition, since Enspelled Items are currently not rewarded in any adventures, they are not available through Service Awards either.
