Rationale
- Dragonborn were originally in the 2014 version of the PHB.
- When Fizban’s Treasure of Dragons was released, AL established the Fizban Dragonborn as separate species from the PHB version.
- When the 2024 version of the PHB was released, it included “Dragonborn”, which only replaced the 2014 version. It did not include a new version of “Metalic Dragonborn”.
This leaves Fizban’s versions as distinct and still AL-legal.
