Species

Why Are Some Species Duplicated?

Some species have appeared in multiple sourcebooks (for example, Shifter). Usually, the new sourcebook overrides the old sourcebook.

However, some newer sourcebooks have not been permitted to use in some AL campaigns (specifically the Critical Role campaign). So in cases like these, the old book should continue to be used.
